The White Stripes are recording new material in the studio following drummer Meg's return from a bout of acute anxiety. Meg is reportedly back in good health after being diagnosed with acute anxiety in September, prompting the cancellation of a series of shows across the globe.
In a posting to their fan list a spokesman for the duo says: "The White Stripes have just filmed an exciting new video and recorded three never before heard original songs (with a special collaboration) and one unique new version of a song from their latest album 'Icky Thump'".
