Slayer & Trivium To Co-Headline Unholy Alliance III!
The third chapter of the Unholy Alliance Tour heads to the UK this winter with Slayer and Trivium co-headlining and Mastodon as special guests.
The European leg of the tour will kick off in Manchester on 27th October and will play nearly two dozen shows over a four-week period.
Hailed as "the heaviest, darkest tour of the year," an additional opening act will be announced shortly, and while Slayer will close the shows, they will be co-billed with Trivium on the UK dates.
Trivium frontman Matthew Heafy said his band was honoured to be touring with Slayer. "All of us are diehard Slayer fans. They are one of the true pillars of heavy metal and for us to share stages with them is both an honor and a privilege. We've also known the Mastodon guys for a few years and we're definitely looking forward to hanging with them as well."
The initial UK dates are:
Oct 27: Manchester Arena
28: NEC, Birmingham
