KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has lined up a special guest to play on his new solo album - none other than top-hatted rock god Slash!
Ace, the original glam rock axeman, is putting the finishing touches to his long-awaited new solo record entitled 'Pain in the Neck,' and has lined up the Velvet Revolver legend to whip out a few solos.
'Pain In The Neck' is due in stores in the spring. It has been in the works for over 12 years according to Ace: "I was all ready and set up to track a record when I got back with KISS and that kind of derailed me from 1996 to 2001 and it took me a while to get my wits back."
"I've been listening to my first solo album with KISS, because everybody says that's their favorite record. I was trying to figure out what made it so special, so I'm trying to incorporate a lot of what that record had for this new CD," he said.
