Rock Out With TG In London!
Picks at the ready... it's your chance to come and rock out with TG in person during PPA Magazine Week in London on Thursday 2nd October!
Limber up your fretting digits and join us at Borders in Charing Cross from 12 noon to 7pm.
The special day is all part of PPA Magazine Week (29th September to 5th October), and Future (TG's publishers) have put together a guitar day offering you the chance to develop your existing skills with tuition on hand from professional guitarist and tutor Jonny Scaramanga, and Jason Sidwell, TG's senior music editor.
Tutorials topics include ‘learn to play the guitar in 10 minutes´ and a group task in which 15 participants are split into three groups, but come together to play a famous track using only three chords.
Top guitar brands Gibson and Epiphone are also supporting the event by supplying guitars and amps for the day, and TG editor Stephen Lawson will also be at the event along with editors from Future's other awesome guitar titles Guitarist and Guitar Techniques, giving readers the chance to meet the writers of their favourite magazines.
TG editor Steve says: “There´s something about playing loud guitar in the middle of a book shop that really appeals to me. You wouldn´t normally get away with that sort of thing, so why not join us for this unique opportunity to scare the crap out of Mrs Miggins as she browses the Arts & Crafts section?!”
