Rare Shots Of Johnny Cash Go On Show
An exhibition featuring rare and intimate shots of country genius Johnny Cash is launching in London next month.
Johnny Cash: The Man in Black captures the life of the legendary musician and documents his whole career from his early years of touring right up to the end of his life.
Five years on from his death, the show at London's Proud Central Galleries depicts Cash at his most enigmatic, in photographs from internationally renowned photographers including the late Marvin Koner, Danny Clinch, Paul Natkin and the acclaimed Andy Earl.
Johnny Cash: The Man In Black runs from 25th July to 14th September 2008 at Proud Galleries, 32 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6BP. www.proud.co.uk
