Noel Slams X Factor
Mouthy Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has had a pop at TV talent show The X Factor, claiming it has 'absolutely nothing to do with music,' and brings on 'instant mental illness' in the contestants.
Speaking to Radio Times, Gallagher, whose new album Dig Out Your Soul was released this week, criticised the way the show's winner is guaranteed an instant number one hit.
He suggested that instead the prize should see them introduced to a producer who will record one of the winner's own songs.
He then vented more spleen on the topic of 'judge' Dannii Minogue... "If there's one person in the room who wouldn't know talent if it kicked them in the arse it's Dannii Minogue."
Quite right our kid, but she does look very nice...
