Morello To Release Second Solo Album As The Nightwatchman
guitarist Tom Morello is releasing his second solo record as
on 30th September.
Called The Fabled City, it is the follow up to 2007's 'One Man Revolution', and was produced by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Mastodon). It features appearances by System Of A Down vocalist Serj Tankian and country music star Shooter Jennings.
While 'One Man Revolution' was largely acoustic, the new album promises to feature more complex electric arrangements.
"My goal was to capture the energy and emotion of The Nightwatchman live shows," says Morello. "There is a much more rocking quality to this record, solos and riffs, mixed with darker acoustic songs. I think my singing has come a long way as well."
