Iggy To Reunite Stooges With 'Raw Power' Guitarist

has announced that he plans to reunite
with guitarist
James Williamson
.
Williamson of course played on and co-wrote the punk legends' third album 'Raw Power', replacing original guitarist Ron Asheton from 1971 to 1974.

The band reformed in 2003 with Asheton on back on guitar, but when Asheton sadly died of a heart attack in January this year rumours began to circulate as to who would take his place, if anyone.
"I had a meeting in LA last week with James," said Pop. "It was the first time we had seen each other in 30 years. So we talked about doing something together. 'Raw Power' would be the repertoire."
