I am an idiot!
Witness a rare meal, as I Stephen Lawson, editor of Europe's best-selling guitar magazine tuck into a big slice of humble pie... I balls-ed up!
Yes, it's true. I made a cock-up while checking the last few pages on deadline.
I'm going to put it down to the stress that comes with ensuring Total Guitar goes to the printers on time so you can enjoy your regular blast of tab, tuition and general guitar-y goodness.
The Clash track transcribed in TG173 (on sale 27 February 2008) is London's Burning - not London Calling.
Maybe it was down to a case of snow blindness... London Calling is one of my favourite Clash tunes and I've heard it all over the radio of late!
Anyway, I just wanted to get in early and explain what went wrong. I promise you normal service will resume in TG174!
Yours humbly (but only for now!),
Steve Lawson
