Hamster Can't Sell His Cage

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has yet to sell his Pacific Heights mansion more than a year and a half after he first put it up for sale.
According to a posting on his estate agent's website he has lowered the asking price for his 1899 Georgian Mansion to $10.5 million (£5million) from the original $12.5 million.
Hamster's palace boasts 9,519 square feet, nine bedrooms, seven full baths, three half baths, a library, and a billiard room, and includes "a deep grassy garden and detached 2-car side-by-side garage."
According to the descirption "The gated motor court affords ample off-street parking. Faithfully maintained and upgraded for more than a century, this property is among a select handful of timeless classics...at one of San Francisco's very best locations."
