Guitarfest 2007
Birmingham mini festival announces line-up
This year´s Guitarfest is shaping up to be the best yet, with a line-up that includes awesome players from the worlds of acoustic and electric guitar. The annual event will be held over two days, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 October, with acoustic on day one and electric on day two.
Among the electric guitarists are Anthrax´s Scott Ian, ex-Ozzy Osbourne axeman Bernie Tormé and Bernie Marsden, the Whitesnake guitarist who played on hits such as //Fool For Your Loving//. Country is served by PRS endorsee Johnny Hiland, while Michael Angelo Batio will dazzle the rockers with his head-spinning shred shtick.
The acoustic day is headlined by American ace Doyle Dykes and also boasts Antonio Forcione and Derrin Nauendorf.
