Family Illness Forces Bullet To Call Off Tour
Welsh metal stars Bullet for my Valentine have been forced to cancel the remaining US dates of their Taste of Chaos tour due to a family illness.
After bass player Jason "Jay" James flew home in order to tend to his ailing daughter, the band decided to cancel all remaining Taste of Chaos dates.
Frontman Matt Tuck explained: "Jay had a call last night about his little girl. She's very, very ill — she's in the hospital. I'm not gonna go into too much detail 'cause that's obviously his personal stuff — but she's very ill and he had to fly home straight away, which obviously is the correct thing to do."
Bullet were touring as part of the 40-plus-city North American Taste of Chaos trek alongside Avenged Sevenfold and Atreyu. The band's guitar tech filled in on bass duties for one night before the band decided to fly back to Wales to support their band mate.
The band will restart dates from their Australian tour at the beginning of May.
