Cornell Gets His Guitars Back
Chris Cornell
is celebrating the return of his guitar collection after a lengthy battle with his ex-wife Susan Silver.
Although quite what the former Soundgarden/Audioslave crooner needs with them is a mystery as he's ditched his hard rock background and gone all hip-hop on his latest album Scream, a collaboration with the inexpicably prolific Timbaland.
Writing on his online blog he says: "Speaking of guitars I was just dusting off the 15 or so guitars that I recently had returned to me after the end of a very long lawsuit where someone had decided that maybe the tools of my trade and guitars I played on my entire catalogue should be in their possession forever."
'Scream' is now due to be released in early 2009.
