Concert To Honour George Harrison Announced
Devoted fans of The Beatles guitarist George Harrison are staging a unique concert and exhibition to honour his legacy.
The concert will take place at St. George's Hall in Liverpool on 1 August, the anniversary of George's original 'Concerts For Bangladesh' extravaganza in New York in 1971.
At the same time an exhibition of the largest collection of George Harrison memorabilia will be unveiled, running daily for seven weeks until 18 September - and it's all free to the public!

Yesterday George was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Fellow Beatle Sir Paul McCartney joined guests including Harrison's widow Olivia and son Dhani to commemmorate the guitarist's legacy, with Hollywood actor Tom Hanks giving a rousing speech (view below).
