Children In Need To Celebrate The Shadows Turning 50
Four tribute bands will play a unique gig to celebreate 50 years of The Shadows later this year, and to raise money for Children In Need.
The night of nostalgia takes place on Children In Need Day (20 November) at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, in Lower Earley, Reading, hot on the heels of Cliff And The Shadows European tour.
Headlining the concert are The Shadowers - established 2008 led by ex-Foot Tappers guitarist Justin Daish, famed for his uncanny resemblance to The Shadows' famous guitarist Hank Marvin. Also playing a string of hits like 'Apache', 'FBI' and 'Wonderful Land' will be three other tribute bands - The Silver Shadows, The Driftin´ Shadows and The Shadders.
Between sets there will be an auction for Shadows memorabilia and equipment, including a special edition Burns Guitar.
Tickets will sell fast for this event so call the box office on 0118 375 8900 or visit www.celebratingtheshadows.com.
