Cannibal Corpse: DVD review
TG scribe Joel McIver has got hold of a copy of death metal legends Cannibal Corpse's new 3-disc DVD. Here's his review:
CANNIBAL CORPSE
Centuries Of Torment: The First 20 Years
5/5
What's This?: Six hours of live, onstage, backstage and moshpit footage of the biggest death metal band in the world. Current members, ex-members, other bands (Trivium and Ice-T included) and fans all chip in.
Any Good?: Amazing. The three-hour historical documentary that follows Cannibal over two decades is only the start of it. Watch in awe (and probably slight unease) as the camera explores the ridiculously technical skills of guitarists Pat O´Brien and Rob Barrett, the terrifying artwork of the CDs, the many bans CC have faced and three more hours of live footage. Gobsmacking stuff.
In Five Words:: The ultimate death metal DVD.
