Blur Announce Two Low Key June Shows
Britpop icons Blur are gearing up for their massive reunion gigs by playing two warm-up shows in London this June.
Rather randomly, the reunited rockers will play a benefit gig at Colchester's East Anglian Railway Museum on 13 June, before a showcase at London's Goldsmiths College, of which guitarist Graham Coxon and bassist Alex James are alumni, on 22 June. Proceeds from this show will go to The Teenage Cancer Trust.
The intimate shows preclude the band's first arena shows in nearly a decade, at Manchester MEN Arena on 26 June, Hyde Park on 2/3 July as well as headline appearances at the Glastonbury, T In The Park and Oxegen festivals.
For tickets you have to register at the band's official website. More warm-up shows will be announced soon.
