Alice In Chains Announce Album Title: View Trailer!
Grunge veterans Alice In Chains have entitled their new album 'Black Gives Way To Blue', and announced it will be in stores on 28 September.
The band recently finished mixing their first new studio album in more than 10 years, produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters) and recorded in California.
It will be the first AIC album to feature William DuVall on lead vocals, following the death of former frontman Layne Staley of a drug overdose in 2002.
"It´s been a meaningful journey and a hell of a story,” says guitarist Jerry Cantrell.
"We've made a record that we´re really proud of. We´re excited for the fans to hear the new songs,” says drummer Sean Kinney.
Alice In Chains are playing a series of festivals with Metallica overseas, including an August 2 date at the Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth.
The first single from ‘Black Gives Way To Blue´ will be entitled ‘A Looking In View´. View a 15 second trailer for it below - the full version will be available next month.
