Ace's Solo Album Due January
Original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is planning to release his newly sober new solo album in January...
Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is aiming for a January 2008 release date for his new solo album — in celebration of one year of sobriety! After a relapse during the summer of 2006 he has finished recording around 10 new songs for the effort, and wants to make the CD "really special."
The album was reportedly recorded with a trio of Ace, Anton Fig on drums and new bassist Anthony Esposito of Lynch Mob. An official web site will also be launched before the end of the year.
Frehley is very happy to be back playing for the first time since his halcyon days with Kiss, the band he co-founded. "I can't wait to get up on stage and rock 'n' roll," he said.
