, which will be taking place in
Aldershot
in August.
Now in its third year, Rocked Out is a four-day course for young musicians, specially designed to help them
improve their live performance
and to give them the
chance to play in a professional band situation
under the guidance of some of the country's leading pro musicians. The course will also cover theory and musicianship as well as stage prescence, timing and attitude.
Reuben's Guy Davies said:
"Rocked Out, was a great opportunity for vocalists, drummers, guitarists and bassists to get a taste of reality, turning them away from being 'bedroom player's', and teaching them to become real performers on stage. Students learn a lot about the importance of being in control of their instrument, whilst listening and communicating with the other musicians around them, and enjoying it all at the same time."
The course will take place at The West End Centre, Queens Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, from
Monday, 6 August
until
Thursday, 9 August
.
Students must be aged between 14 and 18 years
.
Places on Rocked Out 3 cost
