Look what we've got...
blinding new Sonor snare lands at the Rhythm office
Checking the deliveries this morning we were excited to receive a (ridiculously large) snare-sized box from Sonor. We've been waiting to give the new Danny Carey (Tool) Signature snare the once over since laying eyes on it at NAMM in January. After trawling through the epic amount of packaging, there it was, a vision in brass!
What could this be?
We'll be photographing it tomorrow before putting it through its paces during the Rhythm review process. We might even give it a sneaky knock in the office this afternoon. Is it as loud as it looks? Will we have a snare stand that's able to cope with an 8" deep drum? Will its sound appeal to more than just Tool-heads? All these questions and more will be answered in a forthcoming issue!
