The Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM Brighton) and the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music (BIMM Bristol) are launching a whole new set of Summer Schools for 2009.

The schools promise to be the biggest and most impressive ever with an awesome line-up of guests, tutors and prizes - this year sees BIMM endorsees VANS, Orange Amps, Laney Amps, Mapex Drums, Atticus clothing and Lowlife clothing offering up some incredible products to win.

Total Guitar Summer School BIMM Brighton, August 3-6/ BIMM Bristol, 17-20 August

You will be studying a choice of drums, vocals, bass, keyboards or guitar and playing pop, indie, blues and funk, including songs in the style of: The Killers, Kings Of Leon, Oasis, Bloc Party, Babyshambles, The White Stripes, Foals, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Franz Ferdinand, Biffy Clyro, Artic Monkeys, Feeder, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Hendrix, U2, Queen, Eric Clapton and more.

BIMM Brighton Metal Hammer Summer School, 10-13 August

You will be studying a choice of drums, vocals, bass, keyboards or guitar and playing songs in the style of: Metallica, Dragonforce, Megadeth, Trivium, Down, Iron Maiden, Children Of Bodom, Slayer, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold, Mastodon, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Led Zeppelin, Lamb Of God, Pantera, Disturbed, Judas Priest, Trigger The Bloodshed, Sepultura, Slipknot, Dimmu Borgir and more.

The summer schools give players the opportunity to improve technique and styles, while rubbing shoulders with the stars. During all summer schools players study technical development and live performance skills using industry-standard equipment, modern and vintage, under the guidance of the biggest names in music.
