Lamb Of God announce new album details
Those of you gagging for more groove metal brutality from US titans Lamb Of God need fret no longer. The band have announced that their eagerly awaited fifth studio album Wrath will be released on 23 February 2009. Just enough time to grow that long hair back...
Wrath will be the band's first album with new label Roadrunner Records, outside of North America, and is produced by Josh Wilbur.
“This album is going to surprise a lot of people,” comments drummer Chris Adler. “Typically bands that get to where we are in our career, begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. We chose a different path. No one wants to hear another band member hyping a new record. Wrath needs no hype. We have topped ourselves and on February 23rd you will feel it.”
Lamb Of God will, of course tour the album across the globe, the first leg taking in the UK in February. Dates include:
Sunday 8 Feb - Belfast Mandela Hall
Monday 9 Feb - Dublin Academy
Wednesday 11 Feb - Bristol Academy
Thusday 12 Feb - Birmingham Academy
Friday 13 Feb - Manchester Academy
Saturday 14 Feb - London Brixton Academy
Sunday 15 Feb - Glasgow Academy
