The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance has launched four scholarships for deserving students to study their Diploma in Popular Music Performance from October 2007.
The first scholarship for drummers is the Mapex/Paiste Drum Scholarship, worth £4,950, and there are also three partial scholarships, worth £1,000 available.
The Diploma in Popular Music Performance is a specialist one-year full time course, developed in order to train students for a career in the music industry. Places on the diploma are always in great demand, and competition for the scholarships is expected to be high!
