Grohl Rides the Airwaves
As part or Radio 1's 40th birthday celebrations, Foo Fighters' mainman Dave Grohl will be presenting his own show on the station on Tuesday 18th September. The show, which will air as part of Radio 1's 'Legends' series, will be on air between 9 and 10pm, and will feature Grohl playing a mix of his current favourite tunes and the music that inspired him to pick up his drum sticks.
Other music legends presenting their own shows as part of the series include Paul Weller (20th September), Debbie Harry (25th September), Arctic Monkeys (26th September) and Ozzy Osbourne (27th September). Visit www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/events/established1967 for more info.
