Ficek records drums for Doherty solo record
Occasional rock star and tabloid fodder Pete Doherty releases his debut solo album on 16 March and we can reveal that his Babyshambles bandmate Adam Ficek has contributed his talents to the album's drum tracks.
The album entitled Grace/Wastelands will be released on Parlophone Records with the first single, ‘Last of The English Roses´, out on 9 March.
The album was recorded at Olympic Studios in London last autumn and was produced by legendary producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur). Aside from Ficek Grace/Wastelands features a number of special guests. Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, plays on all tracks except the track, ‘Broken Love Song´ and singer Dot Allison performs co-vocals on the track, ‘Sheepskin Tearaway´.
