Clutch to hit the UK in November
Maryland blues rock ass-kickers Clutch have just announced a UK tour in support of their recently released, and positively epic ninth studio album,Strange Cousins From the West.
We at Rhythm have been fans of the band for some time now, especially the incessant grooves of drummer Jean-Paul Gaster (hopefully you had a chance to see our killer interview with him in last month's issue?), so it's great to see them coming back to these shores. For a small taste of just how great the new record is, have a look at the video below for the song '50,000 Unstoppable Watts'...
The November dates are as follows:
01 - Norwich Waterfront
02 - ManchesterAcademy 2
03 - London Koko
05 - Glasgow Garage
06 - BirminghamAcademy 2
07 - ColchesterArts Centre

I'm MusicRadar's eCommerce Editor. In addition to testing the latest music gear, with a particular focus on electronic drums, it's my job to manage the 300+ buyer's guides on MusicRadar and help musicians find the right gear for them at the best prices. I dabble with guitar, but my main instrument is the drums, which I have been playing for 24 years. I've been a part of the music gear industry for 20 years, including 7 years as Editor of the UK's best-selling drum magazine Rhythm, and 5 years as a freelance music writer, during which time I worked with the world's biggest instrument brands including Roland, Boss, Laney and Natal.
