This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the death of Buddy Rich, one of the greatest jazz drummers of all time. Buddy would have been 90 years old on 29 September, and on that day a special commemorative concert is being held in his honour.
The concert is to be held at Lichfield Garrick Theatre in Lichfield, in association with Palmerlive.
A host of drumming stars have been elisted to make sure the night goes with a bang, including: Ian Paice, Steve White, The Charlatans' Jon Brookes, Ian Palmer, Pete Cater (of the Pete Cater Big Band), UK jazz legend Garry Allcock and the Fat Chops Big Band's Neil Bullock, as well as jazz vocalist Claire Martin.
