MusicRadar's got your back
Not one for the funk purist, this is best seen as a hybrid collection that contains elements of funk and hip-hop. This is due, in part, to the widespread use of programmed electronic beats.
That's not to say that there aren't wah-wah guitars and funky basslines galore, just that these construction kits are more likely to appeal to contemporary producers than 70s throwback types.
Samples are organised by folder and tempo. You get a wide selection of basses, guitars, drum loops and hits, synths, strings, organs and even scratches. A great tool for the modern producer.
