Zoom’s LiveTrak mixer series has a new addition to the family in the form of the L-8, a digital mixer with eight input channels and a multi-track recorder capable of recording up to 12 tracks simultaneously.
Designed to be the most versatile and easy-to-use compact mixer on the market, the L-8 is perfect for musicians, producers and podcasters alike.
Mobile and compact, the L-8 features separate headphone mixes and is both AA battery-powered or even powered by USB direct to a computer or a power bank for true mixing and recording on the go.
There are some great features that make the L-8 a must-have for podcasters including six sound pads for applause and other sound effects which can be loaded via an SD card.
There’s also a Call-In Guest feature which utilises a TRRS connection via a smartphone (cable included) that includes a Mix-Minus function to prevent any feedback to the caller.
Up to four pairs of headphones can be connected which can be fed by the mixer’s three independent monitor mixes and master mix.
The L-8 can also function as just as a humble 2-in / 4-out USB audio interface, should you so wish and you can also record directly to SD card at the same time.
