Waves GTR Solo free for a year
A plug-in guitar rig for 365 days
Waves has come up with an appealing promotion for its GTR Solo package: you can now download and use it for free for a whole year.
The software, which is based on the company's full GTR suite, contains ten amps that are based on models by the likes of Fender, Marshall and Vox. There are ten cabs to work with, too.
To help you complete your tone, GTR Solo also features 13 stomp boxes. These cover distortion, modulation and ambient effects.
All of which should give you plenty of sound-shaping potential - almost certainly enough to keep you going for 365 days. If, after this time, you want to continue using GTR Solo, you can buy a permanent license for $140.
The software is Mac- and PC-compatible and supports the VST, AU and RTAS plug-in formats.
