USB-1C mic promises versatility
Nady Systems' hardware set to make recording easy
Nady Systems is the latest company to launch a USB microphone. The USB-1C is a condenser model that offers plug-and-play compatibility with any computer that has a USB 2.0 port.
Said to be suitable for a wide range of applications - from podcasting through to acoustic instrument recording - the USB-1C comes with a 10-inch USB cable. A protective mesh grill should aid durability, and there's internal shock absorption, too.
The mic ships with a copy of Sony Acid Music Studio 7 software (PC only). This multitrack audio/MIDI recording app comes with over 3,000 loops and a range of effects.
The USB-1C is available now and has a list price of $229. You can find further details at the Nady Systems website.
