Snoop Dogg Skullcrusher headphones coming soon
They're "bangin' like Niggaracci beats" apparently
Snoop Dogg has revealed that he's signed up with manufacturer Skullcandy and will soon be introducing his own brand of headphones.
Going by the name of SkullCrusher, the new cans will be available in Spring 2009.
In a statement released by Snoop, he says of his latest venture: "The Snoop Dogg Skullcrusher is the hottest headphone comin' to a hood near you. I've been a fan of their products for years and I decided it was time to break bread with them.
"Our headphones are fly, affordable, and most importantly - bangin' like Niggaracci beats."
We haven't got full spec or price details yet, though Skullcandy reckons that the Skullcrusher 'phones will deliver a "shock-and-awe" level of bass, 30mm neodymium magnetic speakers and mini sub-woofers.
Snoop is following fellow hip-hop heavyweight Dr Dre into the headphones market - he launched his Beats pair in 2008.
