War Machine provides bangs for your buck

PowerFX have launched a new PC software instrument for anyone who wants to give their music a militaristic feel. The War Machine is stuffed with munitions-based sound effects: machine guns, missile launchers, single shots, rocket blasts, cannons, flame throwers, tanks, jet fighters and explosions are all featured.

A total of 87 sounds are included, and these are all hosted by the Maize VSTi sample player (it also runs standalone). This features disk streaming, 16 channels, four stereo outputs, reverb and EQ.

For total flexibility, all the sounds are also supplied as separate WAV files.

The War Machine costs $99 and is available now as a 254MB download. You can get it here.
