New MacBook to have redesigned keyboard?
Revised iPod touch also believed to be on the way
Those rumours that Apple is set to launch a new version of its MacBook in September are refusing to go away, with the latest speculation being that the laptop will benefit from a redesigned keyboard.
At the moment, the MacBook has a raised keyboard but, according to Mike Olson, an analyst at Piper Jaffray & Co, this could be about to change. Olson also believes that the new MacBook will be slimmer than its predecessor and might cost a little less, too.
There's been a lot of talk about a redesigned iPod touch launching in September: word has it that this will look like the iPhone 3G. What's more, the iPhone itself could be getting a new family member in the shape of a smaller nano version.
It's being suggested that this could be made available to pay-as-you-go mobile customers and be available in time for Christmas.
