Moog filter comes to UAD systems
Demo of new plug-in in v5.1 software
Universal Audio has launched the v5.1 software for its UAD Powered Plug-ins system. The most notable thing about this update is that it adds support for the new Moog Multimode Filter plug-in.
Endorsed and licensed by Moog Music, the plug-in was developed by Universal Audio and emulates the classic Moog ladder filter. It's said to sound 'stunningly analogue', and comes as a 14-demo with the v5.1 software. The full price is $199.
The Moog Multimode Filter is currently a UAD-1 exclusive, but it'll be available for the new UAD-2 system soon. UAD-2 owners who buy the UAD-1 version now will be entitled to a free upgrade.
