How to make a DIY cardboard laptop stand
Computer music just got thriftier
For many, the thought of ruining a perfectly good coat hanger to make a laptop stand is too much to bear. There is a recession on, after all. But fear not, there is a cheaper way: here's how to make a DIY cardboard laptop stand.
Go to Thingiverse, download, print-out and stick the template to your chosen cardboard box. Carefully cut around the shapes, slot them together and voila: a portable, 100% recyclable accessory.
WARNING: laptops get hot and cardboard is flammable so if you can upgrade to a piece of Perspex, all the better.
