Having launched it at the Winter NAMM show, Native Instruments has now released the Kore Player. This cutdown version of the software that ships with the full Kore 2 package can be downloaded now for free.
Under the hood you´ll find the power of six NI sound engines, while the intuitive browser enables you to find the preset you´re looking for quickly. A set of 50 sounds comes included and the software supports the VST, RTAS and Audio Units plug-in standards.
Native has also released its four new Kore Soundpacks: Massive Expansion Vol.1; Best of Absynth; Pop Drums; and Kontakt Sax & Brass. These range in price from $59/€49 to $79/€69 and can be loaded into either Kore 2 or Kore Player.
We´ll be testing the Kore Player and Soundpacks soon. In the meantime, we recommend that you try Kore Player for yourself - it´s waiting for you on the Native Instruments website.
