Bird's Nest Stadium is now a USB speaker
And the gold medal for Olympic tat goes to…
If you've been seduced by Beijing's impressive Bird's Nest Stadium over the last couple of weeks, you might like to celebrate your love of its design with a USB speaker that's modelled on the Olympic arena.
Looking rather like a USB ash tray, the Bird's Nest Speaker comes with a built-in rechargeable battery and a 3.5mm mini-jack that enables you to connect up your audio devices. We can't imagine that the 33mm speaker makes much of a sound, but as Olympic cash-ins go, this is surely up there with the best.
Available in silver and black, the Bird's Nest Speaker can be purchased from USB Geek priced at $12. Usain Bolt surely has his order in already.
