Behringer launches strap-on 25-note keyboard
UMA25S also features an audio interface
Behringer has expanded its already vast product line with the launch of the U-Control UMA25S keyboard. This ultra-slim 25-note device has a striking red finish and benefits from the inclusion of a stereo USB interface.
The UMA25S has velocity-sensitive keys and also sports eight assignable rotary controllers. Pitch bend and mod wheels are in place too, as is a set of transport controls.
The audio interface, meanwhile, offers mic and line level inputs. A pair of headphones with built-in boom mic is included, as is a strap that can be attached to either end of the keyboard.
This being the case, the UMA25S might well appeal to '80s throwbacks who want to prance around the stage while they sing and play (you even get a gig bag in the box).
The UMA25S is Mac- and PC-compatible and ships with energyXT2 and over 100 plug-ins. It costs $190 and is available now.
