Superbooth 2019: news, video and more from the show floor
The electronic music world descends on Berlin
Initially a bit-part player at the Frankfurt Musikmesse, Superbooth is now a successful standalone show for electronic musicians, and one that’s going from strength to strength.
It’s transcended its modular roots to become a must-attend event for hi-tech hounds of all synth, sound design and production persuasions, so naturally, MusicRadar is there.
The 2019 show takes place at Berlin’s FEZ between 9 and 11 May, and it’s shaping up to be the busiest ‘Booth yet. From boutique modular mavens to mainstream synth manufacturers, almost all the big hitters are here, and there are plenty of software developers in the house, too.
We’ll keep this page updated with all our Superbooth stories, so keep checking back for all the latest product launches and creative happenings.

“I think we're about to have a big resurgence now in kids picking up guitars, and I think we've got the Gallagher brothers to thank for it”: Should we be hopeful about the future of guitar music?
“I’ve always wondered why there isn’t more support in this industry - not just for the artists, or the band, but for the crew, the people working their asses off from 7 in the morning to 2 in the morning": Backline demand mental health action
I’m the Deputy Editor of MusicRadar, having worked on the site since its launch in 2007. I previously spent eight years working on our sister magazine, Computer Music. I’ve been playing the piano, gigging in bands and failing to finish tracks at home for more than 30 years, 24 of which I’ve also spent writing about music and the ever-changing technology used to make it.
