If you’ve had a look at Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale and found yourself a little disappointed, I’ve got just the antidote for you. Over at Reverb, you can bag yourself some super savings of up to 44% off a huge range of gear, from guitars and amps to synths and recording gear. There’s plenty of brand-new gear available in the sale, with Korg, Darkglass, Ludwig, Teenage Engineering, and loads more on offer.

Of course, Reverb is the place to go for second-hand gear and you can get your hands on super deals in those categories as well. With everything from B-stock gear direct from manufacturers to mint condition used items all included in the sale, if you’re buying for yourself then these deals are a no-brainer. I’ve been covering sales for the last three years here at MusicRadar, and in my experience the best bargains are appearing earlier and earlier every year, making it the perfect place to pick up an early Black Friday music deal.

Reverb Beat the Rush: Up to 44% off
With some phenomenal deals on new, used, and b-stock gear, Reverb has one of the biggest sales offerings available that counters the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event. You can score some serious savings on the biggest music gear brands and nail your shopping list well before the chaos of Black Friday rolls around.

Part of my job is keeping an eye on deals throughout the year, and I check all the major retailers and manufacturers for the biggest reductions on a weekly basis. So you can rest assured I’ve got my finger on the pulse of what’s happening in music retail. With that, here are some of the best deals I’ve spotted on Reverb to get you started.

First up I wanted to shout about the Expressive E Osmose 49-key synthesizer, which has got a huge $269.85 reduction on the Rock N Roll Vintage & Synth City Reverb store. One for those who like their sound design experimental, the ‘longboard’ style keys give you extra expression options, allowing you to pitch bend your notes whilst retaining the traditional feel of a synth keybed. It’s super versatile, able to be used as a standalone instrument or as a controller, and highly recommended for those who found the Seaboard Roli a little too out there. It’s down to $1,529.15 on Reverb at the time of writing, with prices up at $1,799 at both Sweetwater and Guitar Center.

Next up we spotted an absolute legend of the music gear world, the Ludwig Black Beauty snare drum with a tempting $200 discount at Columbus Percussion on Reverb. Famed for its huge tuning range and sensitivity, it’s a must-have piece of kit for any drummer who wants a quality snare drum at the heart of their kit. Don’t let the hype around it fool you, there’s a reason it’s one of the most sampled drums ever made. It’s currently around $200 cheaper than in any other place we could find it, so if you’re in the market for a new snare drum it’s a great opportunity to pick it up for less.

If you’re open to used gear, I spotted the Universal Audio Volt 276 down to just $266.11 at the Pitbull Audio Reverb store. It’s classed as ‘mint’ condition, which means for all intents and purposes it's essentially a new product, just heavily discounted. I love the built-in ‘76 compressor option, which lets you utilize a more analog studio-style workflow from the comfort of your desktop. UA’s world-class preamps ensure you’re getting the very best signal from your sound sources, and it includes a powerful software bundle that will add some of the best outboard and desk emulations in the world to your plugin collection.
