Turn up the volume on your Cyber Monday savings with a set of IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitors for less than $200
Compact speakers at a downsized price
Since its release in 2016, IK Multimedia’s iLoud Micro Monitor system has carved out a compact niche. It provides you with an excellent little monitoring system that you can take on the road if you need to, and all for a very reasonable price.
And that price just got even more attractive Cyber Monday, dropping $150 from $249.99 to just $199.99 at Sweetwater.
IK Multimedia iLoud Micro: $349.99, now $199.99
They might not be IK Multimedia’s best monitors, but the iLoud Micros still pack a mighty punch, and remain an excellent option for bedroom studio warriors or anyone who needs a pair of speakers that they can take on the road. At less than $200 for a pair, they’re a snip. Each speaker contains a 3/4-inch silk dome tweeter, a 3-inch paper cone performance woofer, and a large flaring front-firing bass reflex port. There’s Bluetooth support, too, so if you want to use them for music listening, you can stream wirelessly from your phone.
In MusicRadar’s five-star review, the verdict was clear: “The iLoud Micro Monitor speakers from IK Multimedia are, quite simply, a cut above anything else at this size and price range.” That still holds true today - all the more so when you consider that chunky saving.
For less than 200 bucks you’re getting two bi-amplified speakers that deliver 50 watts RMS of power. Each speaker contains a 3/4-inch silk dome tweeter, a three-inch paper cone performance woofer and a large flaring front-firing bass reflex port. There’s Bluetooth support, too - if you want to use the Micros for music listening, you can stream wirelessly from your phone - plus three EQ switches so that you can tweak the sound to suit the speakers’ placement.
You have a choice of colours, too: the original sophisticated black or limited edition ice-cold white.
