Ida Mae guitarist and Elixir® Strings artist Chris Turpin demos his tonesome take on the blues

Ida Mae have released one of the year's strongest albums with their sophomore record Click Click Domino – an addictive mix of Americana, English folk and blues-rock with the sublime vocal harmonies of UK-born / Nashville-based guitarist Chris Turpin and multi-instrumentalist Stephanie Jean Ward. Fellow Elixir® Strings  artist Marcus King even joins them on the title track and the driving Deep River.

Like King, Chris Turpin has emerged as one of the key young blues players and songwriters of recent years. In the clip above he cuts loose on electric guitar and for his collection of vintage and esoteric instruments he chooses Elixir® Strings.
