Win tickets to the Jack Daniel's Birthday JD Set
See Brett Anderson, Carl Barât, Jon McClure…
The Birthday JD Set is the culmination of a month of celebrations that take place throughout September to mark Jack Daniel's birthday. (Yes, the whiskey maker.)
After a fire at the local county courthouse no-one's real sure of the exact date Daniel was born. All that's known is it was sometime in September 1850 - so at Jack Daniel's they celebrate on all 30 days to honour the man who created the Tennessee whiskey, culminating in an almighty gig of rock royalty.
Exclusive collaborations
What of it? Well, you can be a part it. Music Radar has exclusive tickets and a goody bags for the winner and three mates to this invite-only event taking place in London on 8 October.
The line-up features Brett Anderson (ex-Suede), Carl Barât (ex-Dirty Pretty Things) and Jon McClure (Reverend & The Makers).
Each will perform a series of exciting, one-off collaborations with the New Silver Cornet Band - a group of hugely-talented session musicians from Mr Jack's homestead Tennessee including David Hood, founder of the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and Wayne Carson who wrote Elvis Presley's Always On My Mind.
The prize includes tickets for you and three mates plus goody bags each, including a vintage JD t-shirt and merchandise. Entrants must be over 18. T&C's apply. To find out more go to www.thejdset.co.uk
