Win a guitar scholarship worth over £5K
The Guitar Institute, MusicRadar and Yamaha team up
The Guitar Institute, part of London's Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), is launching its 2009 guitar scholarship programme with a bonus.
One student will receive a free place, worth £5,250, on the Institute's Higher Diploma course starting in October 2009. A runner-up will receive a £2,600 award for study on the same programme.
MusicRadar and Yamaha Guitars are co-sponsoring the competition and applications are invited from students from across the world.
Past students of the ICMP's teaching include Radiohead's Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway, Katie Melua, and award-winning songwriter Kathy Dennis (Kylie, Britney, Katy Perry).
