Win a Gibson Les Paul in riff competition
Gibson launch riff quest from 8 Sept

Publishing company Haynes and Gibson UK are collaborating on a special competition for guitar players of all ages. The competition runs from 8 September to 31 October to celebrate the launch of the Haynes Gibson Les Paul Manual.
To enter players must compose an original riff and upload it as a music file to the Haynes microsite at www.haynes.co.uk/gibson.
The Haynes Gibson Les Paul manual - written by guitar expert Paul Balmer - offers insight on how to identify different models, maintain and set up the legendary Gibson model.
Balmer, together with a senior member of the Gibson UK team, will judge all entries for the competition. The first prize will be aGibson Les Paul guitar, two tickets toMusic Live (taking place at Birmingham NEC in November) and a signed copy of the Haynes Gibson Les Paul Manual. The winner will receive their prizes on the Gibson stand at Music Live where they will perform their winning riff.
In addition, the first 20 online entrants to the competition made after the opening date of Monday 8 September will each receive a signed copy of the Haynes Gibson Les Paul Manual when it is published later this year.
