Washburn celebrates 125th anniversary with reissue parlour guitars
Limited edition models prove that they can make them just like they used to
To tie in with the company's 125th year of instrument manufacture, Washburn has announced details of two limited edition vintage replica parlour guitars.
Modelled after instruments from the late 1800s, the R316SWR features an aged solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. The R316SWK also features an aged solid spruce top with solid trembesi back and sides.
Both models feature a striped ebony fingerboard and bridge, aged mahogany V-shape neck profile, 125th Anniversary logo inlay at the 12th fret, and an abalone rosette.
Production is limited to just 250 examples of each model. Both guitars come complete with a replica hard shell case based on the vintage case that shipped with the original models, together with a certificate of authenticity and anniversary book.
The R316SWR and the R316SWK have a UK RRP of £499 each. For more information on Washburn's Anniversary Limited Edition Parlour Guitar reissues visit Washburn's official website.
