Ted Nugent reforms '60s psych band

Many years before he turned into right-wing zealot with a cupboard full of guns, Ted Nugent was actually in a 'cool' group.
The Amboy Dukes' Journey To The Center Of Your Mind was a frazzled take on psychedelia from 1968, and the band's version of Baby Please Don't Go was something of a cult classic, appearing on the fabled Nuggets compilation album(s).
'The Nuge' and his fellow Amboy Dukes are reforming after 40 years to play the Detroit Music Awards on 17 April.
Hosted by 3rd Bass's MC Serch, the awards will also feature a tribute to The Stooges late guitarist Ron Asheton.
Check out the freeky '60s sounds of the Amboy Dukes.
