Nicko McBrain appears at LIMS show
The London International Music Show (LIMS) takes place 13-14 June 2009, and the Drummer Live event is part of it.
Confirmed for LIMS this year are Nick D'Virgilio (Spock's Beard/Tears for Fears) and drumming and percussion duo Derrick McKenzie and Sola Akingbola (Jamiroquai). They'll be playing their own material and Jamiroquai tracks, as well as explaining how they work together.
Prince's drummer, Cora Coleman will play her first UK drum clinic at Drummer Live.
Headlining Saturday will be Journey / Vital Information legend Steve Smith and compéring the whole event will be Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain. McBrain will also be playing on Sunday 14 June in a special performance with multi-percussionist Pete Lockett (Bjork, Jeff Beck, Robert Plant, Peter Gabriel).

New to the 2009 show will be a chance to have a free drum lesson in association with the Institute for Contemporary Performance . More seminars, workshops and artist signing sessions will be announced on MusicRadar soon.
